History
Colour Points sees players search for points of interest in over 40 towns and villages, including Guildford, Margate and the New Forest. The game was developed by Timothy Holt who is a Surrey resident and former student at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham. He hopes his game will help keep players both mentally and physically active: “I think wellbeing is important and I hope this game encourages people to get out and explore.” Players visit https://www.colourpoints.co.uk on their smartphone and choose a location near them. They then walk between each point of interest shown in the photographs to complete the game. There are badges to collect and merchandise available to buy from each location including a T-shirt inspired by Alice in Wonderland author Lewis Carroll for players completing the game in Guildford. Colour Points is free to play and suitable for all ages.
